Dr. Raymond Christian is a nationally recognized voice on race, class, memory, and the lived experience of working class Black Americans. His work blends oral history, ethnography, narrative strategy, and lived experience to illuminate the forces that shape American life from the bottom up. A decorated U.S. Army paratrooper and Fulbright Specialist in Education , Dr. Christian brings more than four decades of service, scholarship, and storytelling to classrooms, institutions, and audiences across the world.
